Here you will find my incessant ramblings about anything/everything related to my humble collection of Ball Jointed Resin Dolls.
I started collecting these dolls in October 2005. I like these dolls because they are a cross-breed between your traditional anime figurines and the 1/6 scale Tonner type dolls, only now they have sophisticated joint system, anatomically correct and fully customisable look (you can change their hair/eyeballs/face-painting/clothes, etc etc). Originating in Japan and South Korea in 1998, there are now over 50 doll companies around the world that make these particular type of dolls. They are technically called "Ball-Jointed Dolls" and they are made of polyurethane resin.

In my spare time I like to paint doll heads using pastel and watercolour pencils. I have started taking commission jobs related to this recently. Examples of my work can be found: THE NUDE FACE UP
